Dr. Jonathan R. Muretisch is a board-certified family and lifestyle medicine physician dedicated to whole-person, preventive care, grounded in the belief that every individual holds deep, inherent value. He cultivates a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where patients feel respected, heard, and supported in all aspects of life. Integrating holistic and alternative approaches with evidence-based medical interventions, Dr. Muretisch provides care that is both personalized and effective.

He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency through the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho’s Rural Training Track in Boise and Caldwell. He is currently a physician partner at Innovative Family Medicine of Idaho and serves as medical director for both hospice and addiction recovery programs. He is board certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Muretisch finds deep joy and meaning in life with his amazing wife and their beautifully blended family of six children. His faith shapes his personal life and professional calling, anchoring him in the conviction that goodness is real and it is always worth the fight. He finds restoration in all things outdoors; gardening, beekeeping, hiking, beach days, floating waterways, soaking in hot springs, or biking with his kids. He also enjoys coffee with friends, deep conversations, playing and listening to live music, watching movies and gaming with his children. Passionate about building a more authentic, healthy, and connected community, Dr. Muretisch considers it one of his greatest honors to walk with his patients through all the grief and celebration of life.
