What's included in an onsite wellness exam?
- Medical history and health review
- Preventive screening questionnaires, including mental health, substance use, and lifestyle factors.
- Vital signs and biometrics, such as height and weight
- Focused in-person physical exam
- Optional screening labs
The purpose of an onsite wellness exam is preventive care and early risk identification, helping individuals understand their current health status and address concerns before they become more serious. When optional screening labs are included, they are not only drawn onsite but are also reviewed by a medical provider. Employees are contacted with their results and, when appropriate, given clear guidance on the next steps, including recommendations for further evaluation or treatment. By bringing these services directly to the workplace, employees can complete preventive care with minimal disruption to their workday, while employers support access to care and overall workforce wellbeing with minimal administrative burden.
